We are seeking a new employee for the art department. The current art department head will be going on maternity leave and does not plan to return at a full-time capacity.
We are seeking another employee to fill her void. We'd like to fill this position as soon as possible, as she will only be available to train the new employee for a few more weeks.
This new employee will need to be HIGHLY dependable and able to work the required hours, with minimal requested days off.
They will need to be able to work independently and be able to focus on many aspects of the job/fast paced environment.
This new hire MUST be able to show up to work ON TIME, if not 15 minutes before their scheduled time, and have their own form of dependable transportation.
Required work hours are from 9AM-3PM Monday Friday( DURING PEAK TIMES, EXTRA HOURS MAY BE AVAILABLE).
Compensation is determined based on experience and knowledge BUT starts out at $11.00 an hour. There may be room to increase after the first 90 days - if the employee has shown extraordinary work/efforts.
There is a 90 day probation period to be completed BEFORE the new hire will be offered any employee benefits
Key Functions:
Outputting daily art films provided via email from our graphic design artists
Reloading print inks when necessary
Saving electronic files correctly and in appropriate places
Cutting required vinyl jobs some you will create and others will be provided to you
Keeping the art room clean and organized
Keeping track of art supplies and letting management know when its time to reorder supplies
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education High School Diploma
Working knowledge of graphic design software Corel / AccuRip - preferred
Punctual & Reliable
Detail Orientated.
Excellent time management skills with ability to multitask & prioritize
Strong Problem-Solving Skills
Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
