We are looking for a hard working individual to package and expidite both small and large scale art pieces. Qualified person who shows aptitude will also prefabricate pieces for use.
Shipping: Must have suberb attention to detail and the ability to handle pieces with the utmost care while preparing them for shipment. Outstanding math skills will be required daily. Basic understanding of computers will also be needed. Applicant must be able to work unsupervised off a long verbal list of detailed instructions. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., comfortable with most basic hand power tools and work on their feet for a full shift. Will be asked to QA pieces before shipment and gather all necessary accompanying paraphernalia e.g. bolts, anchors, bases and installation instructions.
Prefabrication: cutting and bending basic shapes using gravity saws, band saws, hydraluic benders, table saws, and various hand and power tools. Some cuts to be made within tolerances of 1/32". Preparing built pieces for Powdercoat and assigning paperwork to its proper location to ensure accurate metrics.
Hours are M-F 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, must be able to commit to those hours. Pay starts at $12 per hour. Please apply in person.
