Service Sales Representative
Reports To:
VP of Service Operations
Core Function and Responsibilities:
The Sales Representative will develop sales leads, qualify prospects, make sales calls, calculate and compile estimates and proposals.
Major Responsibilities:
⢠Sell, market, and promote service maintenance contracts to include, cold calling and prospecting to develop new opportunities in your market segment
⢠Site visits to meet with prospective clients
⢠Attend industry related networking functions to promote Page Mechanical
⢠Estimating and surveying of Maintenance Contracts
⢠Provide prompt follow up on leads and referrals
⢠Aggressively manage quotes to close sales
⢠Maintain an active backlog of maintenance opportunities to assure goal is consistently met
⢠Negotiate pricing to obtain the sale and an acceptable profit margin
⢠Use Page Mechanical tracking and reporting tools to effectively communicate progress to management
⢠Selling and execution of new maintenance agreements, related repairs within these accounts
⢠Ongoing account management responsibilities, including contract renewals
⢠Attend weekly open opportunities meeting
⢠Update and ensure all Sales leads are reported for your segment
⢠Project referral to assigned account manager as directed
⢠Assume additional responsibilities as directed by the Vice President of Service Operations
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience Required:
⢠5+ years of HVAC outside sales experience with proven track record of delivering superior results
⢠2-year degree in business or related field preferred
⢠Thorough understanding of commercial HVAC equipment, components, and systems
⢠Experience in estimating commercial HVAC systems and components
⢠Self-motivated with a passion for relationship building and gaining repeat and new business.
⢠Expert level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
⢠Neat, professional appearance
⢠Ability to schedule appointments and manage time to assure maximum productivity and responsiveness to customer time schedules
⢠Solid computer skills in Outlook, Word and Excel
⢠Valid FL driverâs license/insurability, clean criminal background
⢠Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills
