Empire Auto Repair is seeking Automotive Mechanics. The Automotive Mechanic will perform preventive maintenance inspections and minor repairs on various types of vehicles. The position requires the automotive mechanic, under close supervision and training, to diagnose, inspect, and repair vehicles. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Performs scheduled preventive maintenance services and minor repairs.
Determines proper course of action to facilitate vehicle repair, maintenance, adjustment, and component replacement.
Operates vehicles in order to diagnose component failure, make roadside repairs, or move disabled cars.
Communicates, and consults with all levels of employees.
