Exceptional opportunity available for an Experienced Automotive Service Technician to join the elite service team at Sunset Cadillac of Venice, a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group family of new car dealerships.
One of our long-term master techs is retiring and we are looking for a technician to join our team in his place. Plenty of work available and a great workplace where:

If this sounds like the place for you and you have the skills we are looking for, we want to talk to you! GM dealership experience strongly preferred, but not required. Other manufacturer auto service experience and independent service technician experience considered. ASE, GM, or other Certifications preferred as well. This is a flat rate position where you must be able to work independently.
Automotive Service Technician Duties
Accurately and completely diagnosing any vehicle maintenance, mechanical, or drivability problems
Performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
Communicating clearly with the service team including parts associates and service advisors
Keeping your shop area neat and clean, and ensuring that customer vehicles are kept clean
Documenting all work performed
Automotive Service Technician Requirements
As an Automotive Service Technician, you must be dependable and ethical with a high degree of attention to detail. It is also important that you have a firm commitment to customer satisfaction.
Specific qualifications for the Automotive Service Technician position include:
1-2 years automotive service experience required; GM experience preferred
Good diagnostic skills
Flexibility for all types of work
Own tools
Verifiable work history
Basic computer proficiency
Willingness to continue your education
ASE and/or GM certifications strongly preferred
If not currently certified, ability to train and achieve certifications required
Good driving record, pass background screen and drug test
