Looking for HHA-certified female to work 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday through Friday. Patient is 79-year-old female with moderate dementia and impaired mobility. She gets around the house using a walker but needs help showering, including assistance getting into and out of the shower.
Duties include light housekeeping, laundry, changing sheets and towels once a week.
Candidate must be friendly and warm, with plenty of patience. Experience with dementia helpful, but not required. Ability to help patient with her electronics would be a big bonus. Patient sometimes prefers quiet, so ability to respect that is a must.
Background check and professional references required.
Position starts at $11/hour. Four paid holidays a year: New Year's Day, July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
Taxes would be your responsibility to pay.
