Our growing practice is seeking a full-time podiatric medical assistant to join an already awesome team!
Your pivotal role would involve consistent delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. We take great pride in providing our patients with an experience unlike the giant hospital clinics and mega groups. Needless to say, we expect the same from you. We care for patients of all ages with a wide variety of lower extremity conditions, so compassion and flexibility is a must.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
· Rooming patients
· Obtaining vital signs
· Updating relevant patient medical information
· Preparing instruments needed for care
· Assist with wound dressings, athletic taping, in-office surgical procedures, etc.
· Assist with nail debridement/trimming and nail procedures
· Discharge patient with necessary paperwork and instructions
· Assist with charting/scribing
· Assist with obtaining and processing microbiologic and pathologic specimens
· Prepare injections of all types
· Triage patient diagnosis to determine if radiographs are necessary
· Autoclave instruments, as needed
· Stock, and prepare exam rooms daily, as needed

Requirements :
· Medical office experience or education (podiatry experience is a plus)
· EMR familiarity (eClinicalWorks currently utilized)
· Computer literate
· Excellent communication skills
· Reliable transportation
