The Packer is responsible for daily packaging of products in support of Customer Order fulfillment.Responsibilities:- Verifies and picks material per Sales Orders.- Packages materials and products manually per Sales Orders.- Updates and maintains daily Pack log with serial # information.- Transfers material in MRP system.- Assembles boxes and required packaging material as required.- Applies labels, barcodes, and identification to packaging.- Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process.- Maintains inventory levels for all required packing materials- Cleans and visually inspects products before packing- Coordinates with supervision if errors are found- Moves packed product to next operation.- Logs onto corresponding jobs in MRP (Epicor) and follows all job paperwork and process instructions- Maintains an organized work area by performing daily 5S.- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, MRP systems, etc.).- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.- Good analytical skills and problem solving.- Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.- Able to work independently (with limited guidance) and as part of a team.- Confidentiality and time management.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMSkills:- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, MRP systems, etc.).- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.- Good analytical skills and problem solving.- Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.- Able to work independently (with limited guidance) and as part of a team.- Confidentiality and time management.Education:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Material Handling, inventory, stocking, packing experience- Basic computer skills- Background check and drug screen required.
