The CNC Machine Operator will produce a large number of precisely cut parts created to fill orders. Performs routine quality inspections of the parts produced, and ascertains cause and solutions for potential problems. Loads machine with parts to be cut and unloads finished parts. Uses daily schedule to locate correct material for the machines operation. Work hours are 6am-4:30pm, Monday - Thursday - 4 day work schedule.This position is a temp to hire position for the right candidate.Responsibilities:- Load parts into CNC machine, monitor and remove parts- Inspect parts using jigs, templates or measurment tools to meet specificationss- Stage finished parts to staging area- Recognize Problems and do basic preventative maintenance, and maintain work area organized- Experience using a 3 axis CNC MachineSkills:- Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instruction, test equipment and reading measurement tools- Good eye and hand co-ordination while applying good judgment.- Able to stand for hours in sometimes hot conditions.- The ability to meet daily targets and quality of production needs.- The ability to work repetitive processes for hours while paying close attention to details and quality objectives.Education:No Degree RequiredExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- At least 2-4 years of CNC operation experience- Must have the skills previously listed- Drug Screen and Background check required If this describes you, please apply directly at spherionjobcentral.comSpherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
