Environmental Chemist Technician

Ormantine Environmental is a market leader in the supply and analysis of ambient air pollution monitoring products. We serve environmental consultants, government agencies, universities and engineering firms worldwide. We have a full time opening for an Environmental Chemist Technician.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee all of the analysis and production that occurs in the laboratory.
Making and testing the products that are produced in the laboratory.
Responsible for the safety and quality of the laboratory and laboratory personnel.
Supply technical assistance to customers related to laboratory products.
Attend trade shows to promote the products the laboratory produces.
Staying current on new air quality regulations affecting territories that we do business with.
Fill out and maintain appropriate paperwork in accordance with our ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
Safe disposal of chemical waste.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 year degree in chemistry.
Previous laboratory experience.
ISO 9001:2015 experience preferable.
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal are required.
Reliable transportation.
Spanish proficiency preferred but not required.
This is a direct hire. Medical insurance would be effective after 90 days of employment.
