We are a rapidly growing marketing company with headquarters in Cocoa, Florida. We need YOU to become a member of our awesome website development team if your experience and skills meet our job requirements. Heres what were looking for:

Experience & Skills:

At least two years of WordPress website development experience. Ideally that will include not only general WordPress skills, but experience and at least some familiarity with various WordPress plug-ins such as e-commerce, learning management, calendar and scheduling, membership management, real estate listing and sales, forms generation, Market Press, Woo Commerce, etc. You will also understand and can implement CSS and be aware of website class hierarchy.

Solid experience with specific Adobe Creative Suite components such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Premier Pro, InDesign, and other CC tool experience will be a great plus.

Effective troubleshooting skills are a must in our dynamic environment, as is the ability to work effectively either independently on a project or with other team members on collaborative projects.

As is often the case in the dynamic world of web development, the ability to multi-task without losing focus on overall objectives is a critical skill.

You must be comfortable estimating time requirements and then meeting or exceeding these estimates to meet project deadlines.

You must be a good verbal communicator and an equally competent and accurate written communicator. In other words, well expect you to distill often interesting client-furnished documentation into coherent and engaging web content.

We are 100% Apple Mac shop so experience using a Mac is a very strong plus, but not an absolute requirement.

Knowledge of PHP and MySQL is a strong plus as is JavaScript experience

Additional plus factors will be a knowledge of Google analytics, Pay Per Click, Yoast, SEO in general, social media, article posting, blog posting, YouTube channel management an any other cool skills you may have gathered along the way.

Work Habits & Accountabilities:

You must be self-reliant and able to work with minimal supervision

You must be a 100% no drama person. Were a happy team (at least almost all the time) and any me first or non team-oriented and non customer-focused behavior will make your time with us quite short. 

You should be able to research and solve problems using available resources, such as the Internet, knowledge bases, manuals, etc.

Youll be expected to document your work (at least to a minimal standard “ we arent writing books) and maintain a similar level of system documentation.

You will always be courteous and maintain a 100% positive attitude.

Youll work with great clients (some of whom will be interesting) and be part of great projects in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding, very well-established company thats been in business since 1986.

Education:

We dont hire paper and diplomas, we hire people and place a high premium on experience. However, we also know that classroom skills and academic completion demonstrate good background and work habits, so training and certification in some/all of the applications and disciplines cited above is a strong plus as is an AA / BA / MA / PhD (and having been canonized as a saint).

Physical Requirements:

The work we do involves reading and interpretation of written information in both hard copy and on a computer screen; communicating by telephone and occasionally in person; effective and efficient computer operational skills and effective writing as mentioned above.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time 40 hour a week position. We typically start work at 9:00 AM and the work day ends at 5:00 PM. We dont require overtime, but if authorized, some is often available. We serve clients in multiple time zones and its possible that some optional work outside the normal 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. is possible.

The work location is in our office in Cocoa, Florida and we are not looking for remote team members at this time.

Compensation:

The minimum hourly compensation for this position starts at $15 per hour, but your salary will be based on your demonstrated experience and skills and we will review your performance regularly.
