Seeking an experienced cook to join our Team!
Overview
We are looking for a professional cook to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to assist with prep for various menu items. Duties will consist of assisting the executive chef with daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive chef's instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Other duties assigned relevant to role
Job Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a cook in a fast pace environment
Food handler certification is required
Experience with preparing pastries and/or desserts is a plus
Additional Info:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
