Right at Home, a leading in-home care agency, seeks experienced Caregivers for its fast-growing office, which serves Greater Jacksonville, including St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, and St. Johns. We are hiring for all shifts, although weekend, early morning and overnight caregivers are our greatest need at this time. We offer flexibility and the opportunity to help others. Our shifts vary in length, and caregivers earn premium pay for shorter shifts. On-call caregivers receive on-call pay in addition to pay for hours worked during their on-call periods.
We are hiring male and female caregivers located in St. Johns and Duval counties who are experienced in providing quality personal and companion care for adults.

Required caregiver functions include:
Providing companion care, homemaker services, and transportation.
Providing personal care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming and transfer assistance.
Delivering high quality care and dealing effectively with the demands of the role.
Projecting a sympathetic, nurturing and respectful attitude in dealing with adults in need.
Accepting on-call shifts and having the flexibility to accept shifts on short notice.
Lifting up to 25 pounds.
Participating in orientations, training, and in-service education programs as needed.
Communicating promptly and clearly with clients, families, and Right at Home staff.
Following policies and procedures as outlined in Right at Home manuals.
Maintaining accurate records according to our guidelines and standards.
Reporting abuse or unsafe/illegal practice as required by law.
Required credentials and skills include:
High school graduate or GED certificate holder.
At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience handling ADL and IADL needs.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
Use of a mobile smartphone, insured automobile and a valid driver's license.
Current, documented CPR certification, TB test screening and state-required training certificates
Successful completion of background checks, including MVR and Level 2 screening.
Additional qualifications:
Florida state CNA or Home Health Aide licensing is a plus.
Experience with telephone-based care tracking and ClearCare software is a plus.
Fluency in other languages is a plus.
