TreeTown USA is a leader within the horticulture industry with a true coast-to-coast footprint consisting of over 6,000 acres in production encompassing 16 farm locations throughout Texas, Florida, California, and Oregon. We are seeking an Assistant Grower for Propagation to join our team at our Bunnell location in Florida.
Must have a drivers license and own transportation is required.
Candidate must be dependable and trustworthy.
Bilingual English/Spanish helpful but not mandatory.
Full time (40-45 plus) hours per week depending on the season.
Candidate must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Must be detail oriented and organized.
Must be able to constantly lift and carry plants or other nursery items weighing
up to 50 pounds.
Qualified candidate should be comfortable on ladders and greenhouse roofs (up to 15 ft.).
Be able to work in 90+ degree temperature for 8 months out of the year.
This job requires weekend and holiday work allowing for time off mid- week.
Qualified candidate should be mechanically inclined, with knowledge of irrigation clocks, PVC work and minor electrical.
Individual must possess strong, comprehensive PC skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Oracle and Outlook products).
