RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of an IT Architect in Sunrise, FL.
Duties:
Analyze the project functional and technical requirements in order to design technical solutions
Work together with the delivery team in the delivery of successful Proofs of Concept (POCs)
Works with facets of product development and development team to come up with the best implementation plan for business
Create and organize presentations for organization regarding solutions
Providing the development team with architectural blueprints to follow
Assessing software and system issues to find solutions to them as per requirements
Maintain organization diagram up to date with current implementation
Develops standards and technical documentation for existing theoretical design of systems architecture
Provide technical expertise to product development team
Constantly analyze system architecture and provide any recommendations
Work with the Director of IT Software Development to layout roadmap and technology transitions
Takes initiative to respond to all team messages, comments, and emails to ensure that database efforts continue to move forward
Provide analysis and design reviews to other members and groups within the department to avoid duplication of efforts in solving the same application problem within the product
Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the company product
Interact closely with IT leaders to present solutions and research outcomes
Attend all meetings necessary for the seamless delivery of the product as part of the Software Development Lifecycle
Participate and provide technical leadership in all phases of a project from discovery and planning through implementation and delivery
Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document
REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA in Computer Science or related technical degree
3-5 years of experience as a software architect
4+ years of development experience on the following languages (C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL)
Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns, and the ability to apply them
Strong Database background and extensive experience with Advanced SQL
Well-versed in both business logic and user experience
Expertise in web or mobile app development, business modeling, and database concepts - preferably using Agile Development Methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills, with ability to organize and present technical material in an easily understood manner
Deep insight on technical architectures
Experience in developing technology solutions to address business challenges
Attain working knowledge of IT Systems and Applications (infrastructure, security, micro-segmentation, analytics, DevOps, etc.)
Self-disciplined and motivated to support business with minimal supervision
Understanding N-tier architecture
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
Understanding of various design patterns
Preferred Skills:
OutSystems development
Experience in the Homebuilding industry
Strong business acumen is a plus
