Ecology and Environment is seeking Regional Administrative Managers at our offices in Chicago, IL, Portland, OR, and Tallahassee, FL. These positions will work with and support the Regional Directors to implement and maintain business operations functions in accordance with established goals, priorities, time limitations, or other specifications. Our successful candidates will have administrative and operational experience covering a broad range of responsibilities in a business operations environment.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the point of contact for regional business and administrative operations support, obtaining and analyzing business information that may involve participation from multiple project managers/directors and offices in the region.

Manage, organize, compile and analyze operational and financial reports, including project performance, staffing, and sales/revenue projections.

Provide project and program financial management support to Project Managers/Directors, and Regional Directors.

Enforce employee compliance with administrative responsibilities (timecard, 8-week projections, expense reporting, company policies) and operational duties (reporting, H&S, training/governance compliance).

Coordinate training and policy requirements with corporate HR, Legal, H&S and Facilities departments.

Manage and authorize regional and local office administrative support (e.g. supply procurement, facility issues).

Demonstrate business acumen towards company profitability and cost control, and apply this understanding to take actions that contribute to the regions goals and business targets.

Develop or assist with development and dissemination of written and verbal communication and directives pertaining to regional operations and administrative issues, processes, procedures, or initiatives.

Potential management of other administrative staff.

Perform related responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Management, or related discipline.

7+ years of relevant experience in a business or administrative support position in a business operations environment; experience in a professional services firm preferred.

Proficient MS Office capability, specifically with advanced applications of Excel and Word.

Strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to effectively, persuasively, and tactfully interact with employees at all levels of the organization.

Flexible, adaptable, organized, and versatile, with an ability to operate successfully in a collaborative, matrix organizational structure.

Ability to work with a moderate degree of decision-making latitude and working autonomously with a minimal amount of direct supervision, but within a team environment.

Ability to remain focused and on task when simultaneously working on multiple deliverables; can conform to shifting priorities and demands and timelines.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, demonstrating a high level of organizational agility to bring tasks to successful completion through political sensitivity.

Ability to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
