RESPOSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Tallahassee, Florida Branch, the employee will participate in duties associated with site assessment and remediation in relation to subsurface petroleum remediation. We are looking for an individual interested in performing a large variety of both indoor and outdoor responsibilities, with a primary responsibility in field work. Outdoor duties will involve working outside along with trained professionals to perform duties such as groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, soil sampling, active remediation system maintenance, and general data collection. Indoor/office activities will consist of working alongside various project managers to assist with data entry, data table generation, figure generation, report generation, and various project management duties.

 Obtain OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification (training will be company paid),

 Travel to various sites in the southeast region (via company vehicle),

 Field data collection,

 Data entry (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AutoCAD),

 Report generation,

 Mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting and repairs,

 General office duties,

 Project Management assistance.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

Holds a Bachelor's degree of Environmental, Geology, and/or Engineering.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

 Oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with diverse populations,

 Professional demeanor,

 Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word,

 Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently,

 Ability to meet deadlines,

 Ability to work outside in harsh conditions (i.e. extreme heat or cold) for extended periods,

 Ability to lift fifty pounds.

EXPERIENCE OR SPECIAL SKILLS DESIRED:

 Knowledge of petroleum assessment and remediation practices,

 Experience using AutoCAD,

 Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to utilize general hand tools (i.e. socket set, pipe wrench, hammer),

 Electrical controls knowledge and understanding of how to use a hand-held volt/amp meter,

SCHEDULE: This is for a full time, 40+ hour per week salaried position with occasional weekend work as needed.
