Food Glorious Food is hiring experienced servers/hosts/baristas. We are a fine dining restaurant that has been open for over 35 years. You will be responsible for taking guest orders, utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques. Serve food and beverages to the guests promptly, ensure that all items are served properly and on a timely basis, and following the standards set by the restaurant. We are looking for employees who:
⢠Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and help them with menu selections.
⢠Communicate new promotions and product information to guest.
⢠Demonstrate knowledge of menu items by describing food items and ingredients properly.
⢠Inputs orders accurately into the computers, pre-bus tables, and may assist with side-work of polishing
silverware and perform light restaurant cleaning.
⢠Practice safe food and beverage handling and clean up at all times.
⢠Safe handling of food prep equipment such as knives, coffee maker, ice tea machine, etc.
⢠Handle guest complaints with tact and professionalism, turning dissatisfied guests into raving fans.
⢠Communicate and interacts with guests, handle crowds, and put guests at ease.
All new F.O.H. employees will start training as a host before moving up to serving.
