Esposito Garden Center is looking for its next Media Manager . The ideal candidate would have a firm grasp on social media and website technology. A degree in media/marketing/web design is preferred. The duties would include:
Making daily posts on various social media platforms that are grammatically correct and carry the Esposito attitude. Responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
Maintaining and rebuilding our website.
Cataloging information.
Staging and photographing products and plants for promotional purposes.
Booking speakers for our weekly seminars and being in charge of the aspects of the seminars. The Media Manager is expected to attend seminars on Saturdays.
The Media Manager is expected to work a certain number of hours in the store, but can also work from home if necessary.
Examples of work history and education are required.
During the interview process, you will be given certain scenarios involving social media and how you would handle them.
Plant knowledge is not required but will help.
Self-motivation is key. You will be given information on what to post but you are also expected to talk with other employees to see if anything new in our store should be posted about.
HAVE FUN. This is a job, but you will be allowed creative freedom that not many other jobs can offer you.
