Tax Care Franchise Group is looking for an Accountant to join our team!
Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:
Be accountable for 15-20 clients a week
Performing basic accounting procedures, e.g. A/R, A/P, time billing, P/R, G/L, tax payments and inventory control to the company and their clients
Processing payroll services for employees and customers
Month end and quarterly closing (e.g. balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements)
Posting checks, reconciliation of bank accounts, general journal adjustments, preparation of financial statements for the company and clients.
Accountant Qualifications:
You have a degree in Accounting or you are an Enrolled Agent or Certified Bookkeeper
You can verbally communicate in Spanish. (Conversational Spanish)
You can easily explain in layman's terms the relationship between the Balance Sheet, the Profit & Loss and the Cash Flow Statement
You have at least 3 years of experience doing full-cycle bookkeeping with QuickBooks platform products particularly QuickBooks Online
You have mastery with both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
You understand inventory, payroll and how Charts of Accounts are set up for different entities
You are highly effective in managing your time and meeting recurring deadlines
You are committed to having a work/life balance.
You are an excellent communicator, verbally and written.
You seek out professional growth opportunities like certifications.
You are available to work either full-time or part-time 20-40 hours a week, on a set schedule between 9 AM to 5 PM Monday-Friday.
