We are looking for a Full Time Lead Valet for Florida Hospital Tampa
Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-8:00pm; NO WEEKENDS TIPS!
The Lead Valet makes sure the site's service standards are being met. They are responsible to make sure that all customers are approached and greeted in a friendly, helpful way. The Lead Valet will operate, park and retrieve all vehicles safely. They will make sure all traffic laws, facility policies and all pedestrian regulations are followed. The Lead Valet will prepare and maintain accurate valet logs and other reports that are needed. They have additional duties that involve coordinating the team, solving problems and providing guidance when the manager is not on site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service in a courteous and professional manner.
Report directly to Operations Manager, Senior Valet Supervisor, Assistant Operations Manager and/or Senior Management.
Support Operations Manager by maintaining open communications regarding day-to-day operations, staffing levels, unresolved issues/concerns and relaying communications to and from employees.
Assist in coordinating valet operator schedules (vacation, lunch breaks, and leave of absence), recurring safety meetings, job training, and ongoing employee evaluations.
Report any hazards to the proper department within the hospital.
Maintain a well-supplied and clean work environment.
Must be able to work as a team player and sustain your professionalism at all times.
Abide by and ensure adherence to establish policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of ABM, enforcing the correct valet operating procedures to ensure all procedures are handled in a smooth and efficient manner.
Monitor and review on a daily basis all required logs for completeness and accuracy.
Establish and maintain supply inventories for all aspects of valet operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have a High School diploma or GED.
Minimum of one (1) year customer service experience is recommended.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in an environment that is not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions for long periods of time.
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid state issued driver's license.
Ability to walk/stand continuously.
