BCH Mechanical has an immediate opening for an experienced 3D CAD Designer with Mechanical and Plumbing knowledge.
⢠Applicants should have strong skills and experience to take single line contract drawings and develop them into 3D CAD working drawings for fabrication and field installation.
⢠Software utilized: AutoCad 2019, Fabrication 2019, Navisworks and Revit
Primary areas of expertise include:
⢠Completely familiar with mechanical industry drafting procedures and standards required
⢠Works with supervisor to develop project elements
⢠Independently checks CAD work against mark-ups to ensure high quality
⢠Produce finished drawings from sketches
⢠Plans the layout of information on the drawings for field installation and shop fabrication
⢠Responsible for plotter and reproduction equipment
⢠Completely checks CAD work before giving back to supervisor to assure all drawing additions/deletions have been picked up
⢠Performs additional various duties as assigned or requested by management
⢠Attend/Run onsite and on-line GoTo/ 3D coordination meetings
⢠Travel may be required
