Dental Manufacture and Distribution center located in Tampa; FL is looking for a CNC machine mechanic. We offer a full spectrum of specialized dental equipment. Technician will troubleshoot and repair variety of CNC and multi-Purpose equipment.
Primary Purpose: Installing, maintaining, upgrading and modifying industrial machinery and dental equipment. Set up and operate CNC machine centers and/or material handling equipment. Understand X, Y, and Z axis center line pick up (as applicable). Set up and adjust tools and/or make tool offsets as needed to ensure accurate machining.
Working Conditions: Coordinate eye-hand movements; Use hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate, and feel objects; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl;
Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or high structures; and see and hear well (either naturally or with correction);
Lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds. Stoop, lay, bend or squat for long periods of time.
Abilities: Understand and follow all oral and written instructions Ability to prioritize and manage multi-dimensional tasks Ability to work effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraints Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools Must be able to travel to various work-site locations on demand Able to perform maintenance on large production equipment. Able to read electric circuitry, plumbing diagrams; skilled in general welding, and mechanical general fabrication. Fluent in English (read, write, understand, speak) Spanish a plus
Working Conditions: Be able to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of time Must be able to utilize/view a PC and/or monitor Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds Must be comfortable and able to work on a ladder of 20 feet Must be able to work independently without direct supervision Must have a valid FL. Driver's License and reliable vehicle and must be able to travel outside of the state of Florida.
