Our team is called the Product and Efficiencies team which acts as a consultant team to the PI department. We focus first on efficiencies that include lean six sigma process improvements, and change management to transform the business processes prior to automating, or applying technology. We focus second on Products that support the PI team, including cutting edge technologies and capabilities, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, as well as best in class industry capabilities in both technology within the Health Care domain. We reward results, and encourage risk taking.Our Director of Product and Efficiencies will identify and spearhead improvements across the Program Integrity business areas. An ideal candidate will have consulting experience, is a strong problem solver, and have IT project execution experience on a large enterprise scale. Consulting experience is important because we provide consulting services including performing assessments of current state, areas of risk, and areas of opportunity for technical transformation. Problem solving skills are paramount in being able to understand the current state, identify problem areas and be able to identify various approaches to solving it applying process and/or product changes. Execution experience at an enterprise scale is important. We process millions of claims adjustments and handle billions of dollars a year. Our projects are multi-million dollar projects. It is not for the inexperienced. If you want to make an impact this may be the position for you.ResponsibilitiesPrimary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Directs the development, planning, prioritization, approval, implementation and training of new and on-going products and services.

Writes business cases based on data in order to justify projects to transform the business. Oversee and execute the change from inception to full implementation within months. Develops program budget and ensures program meets its stated objectives.

Provides subject matter expertise in response to day to day product issues; researches applicable subject matter practices; and remains aware of industry trends. Partner with Product teams and develop multi-year roadmaps.

Manages internal and external client facing relationships and partnerships.

Develops communication collateral and training materials. Develops presentations, tracking and reporting of the program’s success measures.

Provides leadership to product owners and product managers and business partners. Partners with Business Owners within Program Integrity areas including Provider Education, Special Investigations Unit, Provider Audit, Data Mining, Subrogation, etc. Reports to an executive.

Program directors support business strategies through an integrated portfolio of external client facing programs, projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

BA/BS degree.

10 + years of experience in external client facing program management, project management; complex business processes, strategic and business planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

5+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Product Management Experience.

Strong analytical skills, and communication skills including managing through influence.

Preferred:

MBA preferred.

Project management certification (PMP) preferred.
