The Ruby Data Management team is a relatively new team that is responsible for establishing and managing an end to end data management process for Ruby which includes researching and resolving data quality issues. Ruby is the econometric driver-based forecasting tool currently configured for balance sheet, revenue, expense and metrics. It forecasts the total company, at a position level using granular starting data, economic and rate forecasts, forecasting equations, and user inputs. Quality incoming data is a foundational component of the forecasting process.Responsibilities:Participate in the design and implementation of an enhanced data management process for Ruby. Priorities include:

Participate in the development and execution of the process to proactively review incoming data into Ruby on a monthly basis. Monitor breaks on key CDEs and identify and implement enhanced controls. Escalate issues for follow up by Product Leads.

Work with Technology to develop reports and tools to enable process including enhanced DQ rules, UI views and reports and to shift appropriate adjustments to GENESIS (contract warehouse) where possible.

Participate in the development and production of monthly scorecard to evaluate and dimension data quality issues.

Work with GENESIS team to ensure Ruby process leverages existing Data Services Processes (e.g. DRA adjustments for tactical fixes, DQ scorecards including implementing enhanced CDE checks and leveraging the IMR process)

Participate in process to capture, track and report data issues in master issues list.

Participate in “swat” teams to investigate root causes and execute resolution plans. Write actions and minutes and manage project plan and status reporting.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in Financial Services. Background in Finance, Risk or Operations and product knowledge preferred. Knowledge of Citigroup processes and systems is a plus.

3+ years of Data analysis

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail. Willingness to ask questions and the ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts, requirements and related product and process knowledge.

Excellent communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions and collaborate with participants across the end-to-end process.

Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative and follow through until resolution.

Willingness to be flexible and creative. As the team and processes are established activities and priorities will evolve.

Advanced MS Office skills; Excel, Access, Project, Visio, Power Point, Word
