Demonstrated experience in Performance Engineering role - developing test plans, test scenarios, scope, and approach.
Advance scripting, execution and reporting knowledge using Jmeter, Blazemeter, DynaTrace, AppDynamics & Splunk.
Hands on experience in testing Kafka & MQ. Candidate should be able to script UI, API, MQ flows using Jmeter & Blazemeter.
Design and development of automated scripts & tools using Core Java & C.
The Performance Engineer (PE) must be able to gain a clear understanding of product architecture, application flows, business requirements, build test models, recommend tuning opportunities and test approach, and identify any risks associated with the changes.
Perform validation for fail-over/recovery scenario, measure any impact to response times/interruption, and identify processing ceilings to prepare for increased growth and peak opportunities.
Expected to work closely with multiple application development and DevOps teams to provide recommendations on performance tuning and improvements.
Knowledge on integrating performance testing scripts to CICD pipeline.
Identification of Performance bottlenecks using Thread Dump and Heap Dump Analysis.
Understand and design performance KPI's for AUT. (Application Under Test)
