RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Full Stack .NET/.NET Core Software Engineer in Tampa, FL.
Summary:
We are looking for .NET/.NET Core Software Engineer that is comfortable working remote while we navigate the pandemic, with eventual part-time onsite collaboration in Jacksonville or Tampa. We are looking for a full stack engineer who is proficient with all areas of our chosen technology stack. On any given day that may mean that you are working with ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML with an upcoming move to .NET Core. This role will be part of a small team that believes in what they are doing, and also believes in getting things done well, but not perfectly (and having a little fun during the process). As a key team member and Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for seeing projects from initiation to completion and will sometimes play outside your -normal- role by performing testing for other engineers or collaborating on future features with product management.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop front-end user interactions using tried and true technologies (e.g. Bootstrap and jQuery)
Design and develop server-side functionality in C#/ASP.NET MVC (and related Azure technologies like WebJobs and Functions)
Ensure that new functionality meets internal standards for performance, quality, scalability, and user experience
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Science or Technology
Passionate about technology
Strong attention to detail
Great problem solving skills
Willingness to work in a pragmatic way (sometimes a B+ solution for 20 hours is better than an A+ solution that would take 100 hours)
Excellent verbal communication skills
Demonstrable proficiency with ASP.NET MVC and C#
Proficiency with SQL is nice to have
Proficiency with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or SPA frameworks
