Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. /Job Responsibilities/You will own the definition, design, implementation, testing, deployment, operation and maintenance of massive scale, highly available distributed systems in Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure./Candidate Profile/2 years experience delivering professional, high-quality software (varies depending on level)
Proficiency in Java, C, C , C# (or the like) and experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, etc.
Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems
Working knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills
Experience building and operating large scale, multi-tenant, highly available distributed systems is a big plus
Experience in performance profiling and tuning is a plus
