The ideal candidate will receive parts and product into the branch warehouse and deliver it to job site locations. The hours for this position will be up to 30 hours per week.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Specific responsibilities for this position include:
Check invoices/ order forms of inbound material for accuracy
Transfer data to the computer for inventory control
Record shipment data: damages and discrepancies for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes
Report to management damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications to rectify issues
Deliver materials to site locations drop off areas, using delivery truck
Other general movement of material in the shop, scrap bins, cardboard bins, trash bins
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Forklift certification strongly preferred
DOT license required
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehousing and distribution preferred
Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite
Basic math kills
Familiarization with power tools
Demonstrated willingness to assume responsibilities, ownership of issues while communicating with others
Physical effort required for lifting less than pallet loads of goods to truck
