Medical Assistant Needed 6 Bay Area Clinic
compensation: Salary / Medical / IRA / PTO

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Medical Assistant to join our busy Medical Wellness Team. The ideal candidate will be a leader willing to manage, problem solver, team player with strong medical skills to provide top-notch patient care to cash pay patients with high expectations During Training must be able to travel between our 6 clinics Brandon, South, North, St Pete and Lakewood Ranch and Westchase clinics as requested.
Must also be able to work the varied operation hours between
11- 7 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
9-6 Thursday
9-3 Friday
1-2 Saturdays a month Required
Duties/Expectations
Obtain vitals
EKG
Blood draws (butterfly needles only)
Administration of injections
Provide patient education
Responsible for cleanliness and organization of exam rooms
Keeping exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies
Maintaining all equipment clean (EKG, BP cuffs, stethoscopes, pulse ox, printers, counter, scale, exam chairs, cabinets, refrigerators)
Prepare exam rooms for procedures
Responsible for proper documentation
Assist practitioner with procedures
