CAH is looking for a qualified and experienced Veterinary Technician.
Applicants should:
- Have at least one year or more of Veterinary Experience (please list on resume to include dates, previous workplaces, list of skills, and references in the veterinary field if available)
- Must be able to multitask and work independently when needed
- Must posses basic Vet Tech skill sets such as the ability to draw blood, administer vaccines, run blood machines, TPR and get full history from clients while in exam rooms, communicate estimates and treatment plans with clients, give fluids, express anal glands, assist and monitor surgeries/dental procedures, cytology readings and basic animal husbandry.
- We have a very large case load of in house pets as well as client pets - please be prepared to put in hard work but to also receive the reward of happy and healthy animals.
-Full and open availability. Must be able to work, when needed and scheduled, mornings-nights-weekends-holidays when necessary. Even though our clinic may not be open to the public, we still need team members to take care of the animals that live at our animal hospital.
- Must be punctual and exude a strong work ethic.
