JOB OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for general managerial/administrative duties at a residential home for youth ages 6 to 16 years old with medical and behavioral conditions. The Director has the responsibility for planning, scheduling, coordinating, budgeting, and controlling assigned resources to achieve the program's operational objectives.
This position requires an active Florida nursing license (LPN) and a minimum of a college bachelor's degree in a related healthcare, social or psychology field + a minimum of 2 years supervisory/management experience.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position is generally a weekday schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9am - 7pm
Work hours typically 9am - 7pm during in-school months and will vary when children are on summer beaks, school holiday or vacations. Children's medical appointments or other obligations may also require alterations in the Director's regular schedule during the week.
The Director is responsible to respond to crisis situations, on a rotation with the group homes managers, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; either in-person or on-call in communications with direct care staff depending on the nature of the situation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
College Bachelor's Degree- with a major in a Social, Health or Behavioral Science
Work experience of 4 years working with youth in a residential child welfare setting or child placement agency, to include at least 3 years of related managerial or supervisory experience of at least 2 subordinates
Valid Florida Driver License with a great driving history over the past 3 years.
BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENTS
Must pass Florida Level 2 background screening.
Must have a Local Law Record from local Sheriff's Depatment free of prohibited offenses
DRIVING RECORD REQUIREMENTS
Must have a current, valid Florida driver's license
Must have no driving violations within previous three (3) years and no at-fault auto accidents.

The following compensation is for the Director's position:
Salary- The stating salary is determined based on experience. The annual salary range is $42,000 - $45,000 per year.
PTO (Personal Time Off) - The starting Director's position is 8 days PTO the First year.
one (1) PTO day is equivalent to 8 hours of work.
