Looking for a full time or part time, Medical Biller Clearwater, Florida area, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9:00-5:00PM, Tuesday 9:00-2:00PM, Occasional Fridays 9:00-2:00 PM.
Candidate must have a minimum of two years medical office coding and billing experience with strong computer skills, EMR and billing software systems, Microsoft excel experience. A good working knowledge of Florida commercial insurance plans, Medicare and Tricare is preferred.
Job Description (includes but does not limit):
working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS codes
review billing encounters and assess accuracy of coding
ability to read and interpret EOB and ERA to reconciliation
handling insurance denials and aging
reviewing and responding to patient billing and statement inquiries
collecting unpaid patient balances
Posting insurance payments
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Experience:
Medical Billing: 2 years (Required)
Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check and drug screening
