Medical Billing & Coding (33702)
Medical billing specialist needed for Muti-Speciality billing company. Applicant should have great client relation skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies and the doctors. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload and the ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong decision making and problem solving skills and Microsoft Excel skills.
Certified Professional Coding Certificate (preferable)
Knowledge of all types of insurance plans and policies
Thorough knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 coding.
Experience with contacting insurance companies and tracking payments
Working accounts receivable
Reviewing and sending patient statements
Must know how to read EOB's and understand denial codes
Posting insurance and patient payments
Submitting appeals and medical notes to correct rejections and timely filing
Electronic claim submissions and error corrections
Electronic Medical Records (eClinical Works, Kareo, Practice Fusion)
Credentialing with all insurance companies and local hospitals
Insurance company enrollment and contract negotiation
Experience with EDI and ERA enrollment for clearinghouse setup
