A well-established company in Clearwater, FL, is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team! Our staff has been proudly providing care to individuals with disabilities for more than seven years.
We currently have an immediate opening for a Live-In Personal Support Staff position for a female client in the Clearwater area. This role requires you to live with the individual in her apartment in Clearwater. A private staff bedroom and bathroom are provided for your comfort and use.
The Client attends a day program on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 am-3 pm (Home for occasional in-service days). She also meets with her Supportive Living Coach on Wednesdays, typically from 9 am-2 pm.
When at home, the client requires verbal prompts and encouragement to initiate her daily routines, such as getting into the shower, getting dressed, and maintaining a clean and organized living space. She is independent with many tasks but benefits from supportive guidance and reminders to stay on schedule and complete her everyday responsibilities. The client does not use any mobility devices, and no lifting, transferring, or physical support is required.
She does enjoy going out to the movies, dances, parks, and various other community activities, but also very much enjoys being home and working on her crafts.
PLEASE READ JOB REQUIREMENTS
-Must be able to pass a level 2 background check
-Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
-Must have or be willing to complete the trainings required by the state.
-Must have an active Driver's license (ID Card) and Social Security card (or work visa)
-Must be willing to complete service logs for the service you provide to the individuals.
