Closets By Design is now hiring at the entry level for its Installer Development Program. The beginning wage for the program is 9.50/hour but you will quickly move up the pay scale with raises every 2 to 3 months during the first year. Each level of accomplishment comes with an associated raise and you should be earning 10.75 per hour within 9 to 12 months and much more within a few years.
The program is designed to introduce an entry level associate to the world of wood working and cabinet installation, in a natural sequence of steps. Representatives who display a positive, problem solving attitude have and an ability to learn, will quickly progress through the program from helper to assistant installer to lead installer.
While there are 7 levels in the program, you can achieve the first 5 levels within nine months to a year, and possibly even faster. As you progress through each level, you are awarded an hourly rate increase, as well as a gift of tools for your growing tool collection.
A good driving record and at least 3 years of full-time work experience is required, but it can be in any field. Three solid professional references will help your chances of being considered. If you have experience in construction or working with tools you may progress through the program faster - but it's not a requirement, we teach you everything you need to know!
