We are currently seeking a experienced Irrigation Technician for our Tarpon Springs location.
Responsibilities:
1. Assists Irrigation Manager with preventative maintenance of designated system.
2. Repair irrigation system defects.
3. Assists Irrigation Manager in maintaining parts inventory.
4. Completion of all irrigation orders with approval.
5. Perform preventative maintenance and curative maintenance on pump stations.
6. Operates main pumps and pump controllers.
7. Maintains daily record of activities and expenses.
8. Check irrigation systems daily for leaks, malfunctions, and dry areas.
9. Inventory irrigation parts and supplies.
10. Operates and maintains light utility vehicles and powered equipment.
11. Assists in reading water meters and documenting water use.
Requirements:
1. Valid Driver's License
2. Minimum of (2) years experience
3. Reliable transportation to and from our Tarpon Springs location
4. Must be able to work a full day in Florida weather. Typical hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm
5. Work well with Crew Members and Supervisors
6. Bilingual is preferred but not required
Benefits:
1. $15.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
