We have IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for (4) part-time housekeepers / janitors. Seeking team-players with a flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays). Reliable transportation a must due to public transit may not be running for the late shift. Must be able to pass a drug test and have a clean criminal background to qualify for a State of Florida Para-mutuel Racing License. (Felony violations will prevent the state from issuing license) Reliable transportation a must due to public transit may not be running for the late shift.
"Part-time" HOUSEKEEPER / JANITOR OVERVIEW ($10.00 - $11.00 per hour): Responsible for cleaning all areas assigned and maintaining compliance with the regulations of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA); works under the direction and policies of the employer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Thoroughly clean areas by, but not limited too, dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, empty trash and window washing
· Pressure clean chairs and floors
· Operate and maintain all equipment / tools Flexible to work within any area of Maintenance department
· Perform other duties as assigned by ManagementPERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Meet all regulations pertaining to health, safety and personal hygiene in accordance with City, State, and Federal laws
Comply with Company / Department policies, including attendance
Must not present a direct threat to health, safety or the welfare of fellow employees or others
Treat all guests, vendors and employees with courtesy, respect, fairness and consistency
Professional in appearance, grooming and behavior
Ability to interpret and complete all communications received and submitted
Respond in a timely manner to all guests and employeesWORKING CONDITIONS:
Potential exposure to outdoor / indoor elements and air conditioning / heat
Walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching
Occasional lifting (up to 50lbs.)
