If you are the experienced scheduling assistant we are looking for, you’ll be self-motivated, positive, enthusiastic, a team player, hardworking, detailed-oriented, and efficient. You will have 2+ years of experience as a scheduling assistant. You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate and up to date calendar for 5+ attorneys. Some job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Communicating and coordinating with courts, opposing counsel, co-counsel, clients, expert witnesses, and medical providers
Scheduling hearings, inspections, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, client meetings, and phone conferences
Securing court reporters, videographers and interpreters when needed
Calendaring attorneys' personal appointments and time off
Drafting, filing, and saving notices for proceedings
Drafting and following up on subpoenas for depositions
Responding to high volume of emails promptly
Experience with the court system, including but not limited to, electronic filing (e-filing), electronic e-service, and Microsoft Office is required
