Full Service Automotive Advertising Agency looking to hire a freelance graphic designer with proofing expertise. The ideal candidate will also have their own Adobe Creative Suite subscription and have extensive knowledge with print materials, variety of layouts, web graphic work and large print promotional items. Candidates that posses any previous marketing experience will also greatly impact our potential selections.

MUST be available 8:30-5:30 Mondays-Fridays (We operate on a 24-48 hour turnaround time)
MUST have a current online portfolio.
MUST have experience in Adobe CC - Top applicants will be given a design brief and test!
MUST have a positive outlook. We are about fun and creative thinking.
MUST be an ENGLISH TO SPANISH Translator. We have a few jobs a month that need to be converted over from English to Spanish. There will be a test.
You must have a solid understanding of core design principles, typography, color and page layout. Enthusiasm for brainstorming, iteration, and collaborative design. Must be detail oriented, a fast learner, proactive, a team player, able to multitask under pressure, and manage time efficiently. Must be able to develop alternative design solutions and execute them in a timely and accurate manner. Ideal candidate will also be a formally trained digital designer with professional experience in graphic design, creating clean attractive designs that stand out, reinforce identity and get results. We are looking for someone that genuinely cares about their work and has a go-getter attitude.
Proofreading is an essential part of the design process. If a client sees too many mistakes it reflects on all of us as a company. Do you run spell check after every job involving text? Do you triple check your proofs? Do you have a reputation for being quick, yet creative, and have corrective-ness in art instruction? Then this is the job for you!
List of required Skills:
- 3 years experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Specifically: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Automotive Design Experience
- English to Spanish Translator (verbal and written)
- Ease with working and troubleshooting on a Mac OS X/Windows Platform
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs: Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint
- Able to follow instructions
- Great writing, grammar and spelling skills
- Able to communicate effectively
- Highly Self-motivated and independent
- Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
- Able to thrive under pressure
- Well Organized and stay organized while juggling multiple tasks
- Must be efficient working in required tools and applications
- Customer Service Oriented. You will communicate with account managers daily so people skills is essential.
