Would you like to work for a rapidly growing fashion jewelry brand that is opening a small production studio in St. Petersburg, FL? Our office will be opening in early May of this year, and we are currently looking for skilled workers with jewelry assembly experience using wire wrapping technique to join our team. You'll be working in our studio alongside our designer, creating and manufacturing necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings for clients all over the US, Canada, and Europe. We proud of our jewelry being handmade in the US, and are looking for dedicated local crafters/artisans to help work with us in our new home.
Positions for qualified individuals will be offered both full time and part time. We are looking for people who learn quickly and work efficiently. We offer a generous starting salary with opportunities to grow within the company, and benefits for employees after 1 year of full time employment. Qualifications:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience wire wrapping jewelry. Please, DO NOT APPLY if you are not a skilled jewelry wire wrapper. We will be offering positions to people with the technical skills we are looking for first, so please only apply if you have experience making jewelry at some level, either professionally or as a hobby.
- Must be familiar with semi-precious stones.
- Must be able to learn how to organize and follow production workflow, including pulling materials for orders, creating an assembly workflow, and assembling jewelry at a reasonable pace.
- Must be very organized, detail oriented, and able to meet production quota.
Payment and wages:
- Payment is a biweekly salary. Compensation starts at $10.50 per hour for this position, with managers pay starting at $12 per hour. Medical benefits will be offered to full time employees after 1 year of employment.
