Main Job Description: This part time position is responsible for providing a high level of administrative support for a property management/real estate firm. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, be proactive, be service oriented, have the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in an environment that requires frequent adjustment. This individual must be able to work independently in an office environment with minimal supervision and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. As well, s/he is expected to maintain professional decorum.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Must have high attention to detail
Must be reliable and punctual
Must be organized and able to work in a busy environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
Word Press & social media a plus, not required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Professional demeanor
Process lease renewals, rental applications, general filing and office duties
Provide rental information to prospective residents
Marketing of rental properties
Coordinate maintenance scheduling as requested by broker
Respond to calls from clients, contractors, and tenants
First point of contact for multiple phone lines
Must be willing to learn, be friendly, stay positive in difficult situations, and enjoy the challenge!
Basic property management and real estate experience a plus, but not required
Must have reliable transportation
Professional setting, Competitive pay, Drug and Smoke Free workplace
25-30 Hours per week Monday and Friday hours 830am-5pm required, Tues, Weds, Thurs hours flexible
