Zymphony Technology Solutions is a full-service Technology Product and Services Company located in the Westshore business district of Tampa, Florida.

We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Specialist Tier 2 for our Tampa location.

Position Description:

Desktop Support Specialist Tier 2 is responsible for assisting in the structured architecting, implementing and supporting technology solutions as an individual contributor and through their team. This position is expected to work with the sales team to architect and sell solutions requiring high-level engineering. This position will manage multiple projects with conflicting time frames, you will be expected to make the best decisions on behalf of Zymphony. Effectively uses resources to drive ticket closure metrics and customer satisfaction. Provides technical leadership to the team and organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as a resource on complex technical tickets, issues and client opportunities

Establish structured technical standards relating to hardware, software and services for proposals and best practices

Deliver solutions and provide support with Microsoft, Cisco, RDS, Hyper-V, VMWare, and Office 365 technologies

Monitor systems performance, perform complex root cause analysis and provide resolution for systems at different enterprise levels

Provide quality assurance oversight on trouble tickets as needed to evaluate and assess technical risks, adherence to standards, and progress on issues according to Service Level Agreements (SLA's)

Provide high-end support for the sales team for complex issues and opportunities

Provide mentorship and support professional the development of the technical services team.

Represent Zymphony professionally to all interested parties including customers, prospects, and outside vendor partners

Exhibit sensitivity and awareness to the specific needs of customers, business partners, and technical services team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as follow through skills

Excellent presentation, organizational and planning skills

Process oriented, with great attention to detail

Strong passion for customer service

Requirements:

• Intermediate knowledge of desktop operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X)

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Intermediate knowledge of networked workstation and server configurations

• Intermediate knowledge of network devices (routers, firewalls, switches)

• Excellent communications/customer relationship skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• 2+ years of desktop experience

• Help Desk/MSP experience a plus

• 1 -3 years server experience a plus

Preferred Technical Certifications:

CCNA, MCSA 10, 365 or Server 2016
