Job Summary:
The TUG Crew Leader is responsible for the installation of new construction electrical services such as installing single family meter main combo panels per builder specification and NEC code.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Able to install meter main combo panels per NEC code for new home construction.
Able to ground the home with rod using a hammer drill.
Must ensure all work is done efficiently and per the builders’ plans as well as NEC code.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to scale prints and properly read prints.
Must have their own standard residential electrical tools.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Must have specialty tool use knowledge – Hammer drill, Chipping Drill, Generator.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must have basic electrical knowledge.
Must have basic construction safety knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, grasping and lifting.
Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in all outdoor elements – i.e. heat, rain, dirt, etc.
Must have clean driving record.
