What you’ll be doing The Senior Project Manager handles more than one major initiative across one or more ecosystems. The role will be a Strategic Alliance as the Biz Development (BD) lead for a high potential Strategic Alliance.You will thrive on solving hard problems and have the opportunity to hone new skills, try new approaches, and grow in new directions. Performs economic value analysis as to why Verizon enabled approach provides significant incremental value vs. what is being done today.
Identifies BD or Partnership Profile of use cases.
Identifies potential call-out for Partner integration in whole offers and works with Channel team to identify and evaluate the options.
Work leads with accounts/Partners teamed with account and Solutions Architecture teams to create insertion and opportunities to close new business/relationships leveraging standard contract offers.
Work with Verizon internal organization to validate partnership viability with sourcing, legal, vendor management, and Professional Services.
Demonstrates capability of engaging and leading BD initiatives with the C-suite inside of customer/partner and within Verizon.
Works with Solutions Architecture and product teams to outline high priority feature requirements for existing Markets.
Provides specific customer and competitive summaries as input to justifying new services development.
Builds models to track progress against gate/checkpoint model for gate progress as well as financial initiatives.
Works with channels to build different go-to-market strategies to monetize the go-to-market models.
Matrix virtual teams of Solution Architect, Pro Services Consultant, Sr. Executive Leadership and Sourcing on global basis.
Identifies and manages program plan and carries program management skills.
Builds broad, cross-functional field enablement and scaling program for specific initiative area.
Creates field enablement model and gains approval support from Product Marketing teams.
What we’re looking for You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or MIS degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Three or more years of Business Development experience.
Six or more years of Project Management experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have:
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).
PMP Certification.
