· Lead, direct, and coordinate work assignments for technical support staff including vendors.
· Primary technical interface and subject matter expert (SME) for SLERS operations.
· Updates and maintains interface control documents, system drawings, and other technical documentation as needed.
· Participates in all technical discussions both internally and externally with customers, company personnel, and subcontractor/vendors.
· Determines sparing requirements and supports cost/risk supportability analyses.
· Identifies and diagnoses system issues; Ensures repair solutions are implemented.
· Configures and places equipment orders for infrastructure and user devices as needed.
· Defines processes and procedures to support effective and efficient SLERS operations.
· Provides technical guidance to management and customers.
· Responds to customer-raised concerns and follows-up were necessary.
· Understands technical anomalies and reacts to support critical situations with little notice
Qualifications:· Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree with 7 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Skills:· Bachelor’s degree and significant relevant experience in technical system management.
· Customer-oriented with the ability to assimilate and manage expectations while maintaining a favorable working relationship
· Familiarity with EDACS-EA and P25 technologies.
· Understanding/experience with statewide radio systems.
· Versatility to quickly come up to speed in areas adjacent to expertise and past experiences.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Proven technical leadership experience.
· Effective communicator and mentor.
· Demonstrated ability to proactively resolve problems.
· Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
