Tool & Die Maker 1st Shift
Atlantic Engineered Products is a contract metal stamper supplying general industry with precision metal stampings and assemblies since 1975. We have an opening for a qualified Tool & Die Maker. We are looking for someone who is self motivated and wants their opinion to count. Our business is growing and we need someone who can help shape the tool and die area into a first class operation. We are located near a very desirable vacation area on the coast of Georgia. We are 1 hour south of Savannah, GA, 1 hour north of Jacksonville, FL and only a few miles from St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island and the beaches.
Job Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance of tooling
Perform machinist work on all tool room equipment
Recognize and recommend process and tooling improvements
Diagnosing and troubleshoot tool and equipment problems in press
Design and rebuild tooling as required for engineering changes
Set dies and feed equipment
Education / Experience Required
Journeyman Tool & Die Maker with 5 years work experience or
10 years proven experience working as a Tool & Die Maker
Experience with progressive dies and forming and bending with material from .020 to .250
Strong abilities in troubleshooting dies
Proficient with all tool room equipment
