BI Developer & Data Analyst Immediate need for a BI Developer / Data Analyst to join a dynamic company. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Migrate from Azure and on-prem to Google Cloud Platform
Approximately 50% of the time doing development and 50% doing analysis
Convert business needs into technical requirements to support the BI team in building the robust multi-cloud DW.
Partner with the business in a highly agile, iterative, and collaborative process to generate "simplified" operational and business views of a complex and fragmented set of enterprise sales and operations data.
Production prototyping and DevOps type delivery.
BI / Data Analysis, collecting business needs and converting those into technical reporting and dashboards.
Act as liaison between the end-users & tech team.
Support users in the learning process for the reporting tools, User training on the data platform
Create and maintain replicable and scalable data pipelines for data generation, integration, and dashboards displaying the metrics to facilitate business decisions.
Maintain the DW standardization guidelines and methodologies, design sampling strategies to achieve the precise metrics of data standardization algorithms, and ensure the quality of assessment.
Conducting quantitative and qualitative financial & operational analyses working with complex unstructured datasets.
Project Scoping, Process-Design, BA, and PM work.
Descriptive, Predictive, Prescriptive, and Diagnostic Analytics.
Advanced analytics and Data Science techniques to support Data Mining, Forecasting, and Predictive modeling.
Maintain Web Analytics platform to track and analyze site visits, conversions, promo tracking, hit maps, etc. Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Heap, Matomo, etc.
We prefer direct hire; however, we can also do a contract (2 years) or contract hire. You can be based out of our Alpharetta, GA or NYC office and telecommute twice a week. Excellent opportunity to make an impact. Visa candidates are okay for a contract, but no sponsorship is available for direct hire. REQUIRED SKILLS:
5+ years of experience with at least one of the following reporting tools: Power BI or Google Data Studio or Looker or Tableau, or a similar tool
Cloud experience
Strong T-SQL, including views, functions, etc.
At least one of the following: SSAS or SSIS or SSRS
Ability to assemble significant and complex heterogeneous data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements under the big data frameworks (i.e., ADLS, HDFS, Hive, Spark)
In-depth understanding of RDBMS systems and usage of OLAP, OLTP for BI needs
Demonstrated Data Visualization experience ( prefer Power BI / SSRS / Tableau / Looker / Google Data Studio).
ETL experience
Ability to write complex SQL, cohort / comparative analysis, and Data modeling skills.
Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing and Multidimensional Data Modeling.
