The role of the Chief of Staff (COS) is to work closely with the Vice President of Channel Sales and the extended team members and stakeholders to ensure the efficient operations of the Channel Sales organization.The U.S. One Commercial Partner (OCP) Channel Sales team i s aligned to our field Operating Units (OUs) across Public Sector, Enterprise Commercial and Small Medium & Corporate, & Digital Sales. The Channel Sales team drives and executes the channel co-selling strategy with our partners to maximize revenue, drive consumption & usage of Microsoft cloud services. The BM will support the ongoing transformation we are executing with our Partner and Field Integration framework across the US subsidiary.The COS function will lead activities in all aspects of strategy development, people governance, compliance, internal communications, and scorecard management. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills due to cross-group coordination, volume of demands and the high impact work on short deadlines.Responsibilities

Business Management: Take a proactive role in running the office of VP and ensure we are adequately meeting the demands of all key stakeholders and the needs of our organization. Manage monthly and quarterly priorities, while collaborating with the leadership team and internal partners to meet objectives. Monitor and strengthen our business policies; audit and improve our capacity for operating our business effectively. Create and implement accurate plans, develop success metrics and communication approach for these initiatives and projects. Execute rhythm of the business and ensure we are executing with excellence & organize all the notes / actions / outcomes with appropriate follow-up.

Financial Management: Lead budget planning and forecasting, hiring strategy, and resource management in alignment with the ROB. Manage the team's OPEX budget, headcount and spend in partnership with finance to ensure effective budget management. Ensure teams have a deep understanding of people/discretionary and non-people spend and drive to quarterly and FY financial targets/accountabilities. Lead fiscal planning process for the team in partnership with finance.

Executive Communications & Presentations: Drive all aspects of team communications. Plan and prepare content for speeches/communications, All-Hands, LT meetings, Cross-groups presentations, Partner Meetings, Key Notes, Videos, Conferences and business reviews ensuring that all messages are clear and in alignment with the organization’s goals.

Culture and People Programs: Work closely with VP, HR and leadership to identify, analyze, and develop strategies to improve organizational health as indicated by employee feedback results, from personal observation (requires a good pulse on the org), or other employee listening systems. Work closely with leadership team on overall morale strategy and fun events. Elevate our partnership with recruiting to ensure our organization attracts the best and brightest candidates and any openings are filled quickly and meet organizational hiring objectives. Drives and ensures a positive onboarding, and ongoing training program for the organization. Owning and leading successful implementation and delivery of the people plan, holding LT and v-teams accountable for meeting expectations set throughout the year

Special Programs/Projects: Support and participate in strategic initiatives or cross-group projects contributing to the overall organizational strategy including, but not limited to, organization awards, manager excellence and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives. Plan, lead, and facilitate leadership and team offsites ensuring materials are sent in advance, time is well spent, and objectives are achieved.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:

2+ years of experience operating in a Chief of Staff, Business Manager, Project Manager or Operational Role spanning at least two of the following competencies:

Proactive Process Optimizer : Able to manage a high degree of complexity and to distill information, able to think both strategically at a global level as well as effectively developing keyprocesses anddeliver and distribute information across multiple channels and mediums.Collaboration and Consensus Expert: Exceptional cross-organization consensus-building skills, including ability to build comprehensive and compelling presentation and communication materials that span functions and groups, with a high degree of focus on details and delivery quality.Communication Champion: The ability to build trust, influence, and relationships with diverse team members at all levels, the ability to leverage relationships to accelerate delivery, and the ability to use these skills to facilitate connection with stakeholders across the organization.Culture Cultivator: Passion to foster an inclusive and diverse culture through initiatives, training & education, communications, and implementing optimizations based on high-level goals.Project Driver: Project Management skills and ability to lead multiple high-profile projects of varying timelines simultaneously across a distributed set of stakeholders without direct ownership of resources.

5+ years of Program managementexperiencewith the ability to prioritize work in a rapid-changing environment and synthesize information from data and ambiguous situations

Exceptional written, presentation, and verbal communications skills that can applied across organizational levels, countries, and cultures

5+ years’ experience in multi-year planning with strong business acumen

3+ years’ experience in process/performance optimization arena
