Essential Duties
  • Assesses the business needs and transfers to a technical solution in order to help reach business objectives.
  • Serves as a primary liaison between the LeasePlan business representatives and development teams.
  • This position is responsible for ensuring the delivered solution meets the requirements of the functional area(s).
  • Responsibilities include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements,
    translation of requirements into required capabilities/features, and conducting quality assurance testing.
  • Serves as an Agile Product Owner and ensures alignment of product roadmap to strategic goals.
  • Business Analyst III can work independently on complex business problems/systems, and can perform a variety of complicated tasks, concurrently at times.

Responsibilities
  • Works mainly on IT system-related projects or projects that rely heavily on technology and IT to resolve business problems and optimize performance.
  • Applies broad knowledge to identify and resolve core problems.
  • Considers enterprise-wide solutions and impact.
  • Collaborate with Product Management/Business Stakeholders/Business Process Management/Other strategists to define vision for product, service, software initiatives.
  • Collaborates with Product Manager/Business Stakeholder/IT Architecture to develop Product Roadmap; executes the roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Product Manager/Business Stakeholders/IT Architecture/UX Designers/Users to understand product needs and translate into requirements.
  • Collaborates with Business Process Management and supports the collection of information for creating the “as is” and “to be” processes.
  • Translate the Vision and Business Objectives of Product Management/Business
    Stakeholders/Business Process Management/Other Strategists into tasks for Development by transforming product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Primary liaison between the Business Teams, Business Process Management, UX Designers, Scrum Master, Development and Data Solutions Teams. Serve as single point of contact to get alignment, clarify questions, reach consensus, drive decisions.
  • Elicit & Document functional requirements by leveraging business requirements/rules, current/future state process maps from Business Process Management, UX Designs, requirements sessions with all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate discussions with functional subject matter experts who will provide significant input in design sessions to ensure the solution supports business needs.
  • Ensure the focus is kept on the customer needs while also ensuring alignment to the project scope.
  • Actively participates in all Program Increment Planning sessions and Scrum ceremonies.
  • Prioritizes and maintains the product backlogs and sprint backlogs for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
  • Evaluate progress at each stage of development.
  • Validate, Test and Demo User Stories.
  • Coordinate and assist in data migration by mapping data from the current legacy system to the digital solution.
  • Coordinate and assist in creating test plans and scenarios for system and user acceptance testing.
  • Coordinate and ensure quality assurance testing is conducted to confirm system meets future-state process requirements and the solution is free of critical defects prior to implementation.
  • Responsible for reporting status, issues, risks and impediments to Project Leadership.
  • Acts as an ambassador of change for the assigned project and partners with the business and Organizational Change Management to support project adoption.
  • Ability to focus on multiple small initiatives simultaneously or a single large and complex initiative.

Position Type/Standard Schedule
  • This position is full time with typical work hours of 8-5, Monday – Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Travel: If working remotely, travel may be required during mandatory company events

Education & Experience
  • Preferred – Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Four or more years in business analysis involving process design, software modification/development environment
  • Experienced in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies for Project & Software Development
  • Desired - Certifications in Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework methodologies; Business Analyst Certifications
